Lake Buena Vista, FL (Epcot Entertainment) -- The last performance of Epcot's Masquerade will be 7:05 PM on Saturday, April 24th, weather permitting. Epcot Entertainment would like to thank the 83+ performers, greeters, technicians and costumers who brought the spirit of Italy's traditional festival to life over the span of the run. Initiated in 1999 at Epcot's Italy Pavilion, this atmosphere character piece has had a profound effect on our Guests and has been a direct influence on the arts and crafts media used at Epcot's Kidcot locations.

Arrivederci King and Queen, Harlequin, Perot, Tudor, Renaissance, Queen Elizabeth and Venetian Citizen! Thank you for a taste of the Carnevale di Venezia!

I never cared much for the Masquerade. I wish they would have never gotten rid of Nova Era.

a little of both... it wasn't as popular as it used to be when they had the bellafortuna, so they've gone ahead and axed it... the cast will now go back to character roles..
