I would imagine the water rides felt great at the moment with the heat being so bad but when you had to go indoors, the AC must have been freezing! Blisters are the worst especially when you have so much walking ahead of you on this trip! Your meals looked fabulous at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium!

We didn't go inside anywhere until we were dry again. We got some snacks. We found some watermelon and I could feel I needed something, and we were trying to limit sugar and to a certain extent carbs, so we got the watermelon and then later we got a pretzel with cheese sauce that we all shared between 4 of us, so none of us were overloading on the carbs. That's one of the nice things about going with a group...you can share food so you don't have to waste as much when you only want a little bit. Non-Americans are generally caught off-guard by the amount of food American restaurants/vendors give you. If you ask a Dutch person who has been to the US what their trip was like, most of them will mention the huge portion sizes and that they offer you the rest to take home. That's not done here. And really, when you're traveling, leftovers aren't particularly practical. Not every hotel room has a fridge to store them, most don't have microwaves to heat them up...you can't really take them with you in the car and eat along the way in most cases. It's fine when you're at home and just went out to eat. You have your silverware and plates, fridge, microwave, etc...but when you are traveling, it just doesn't make sense.
Sorry, but due to unexpected events, I'm going to have to wait to finish this report. I had the best of intentions, but life has other ideas. It may be a while before I can get back here.
