It’s been 20 years since Disneyland has axed a ride (How long will it last?)

This September, Disneyland will have gone twenty years without closing a ride. The last major attraction to have closed was Country Bear Jamboree .

From 1981-2001, many a ride/attraction was lost, the list includes:
1. Adventure thru Inner Space
2. America Sings
3. Mission to Mars
4. Motor Boat Cruise
5. Skyway
6. PeopleMover
7. Mike Fink Keelboats
8. Submarine Voyage (1998-2007)
9. Rocket Rods
10. Country Bear Jamboree

In the twenty years before then, from 61-81, these attractions vanished:
1. Mine Train thru Nature’s Wonderland
2. Carousel of Progress
3. Flying Saucers
4. Midget Autopia

That brings us to today, an uncertain future has descended upon us with a new wave of management and it seems as though they want to pounce with new IP’s being shoved into the park. Splash Mountain will be the first to go, the same ride system will be used and just be rethemed, much like Finding Nemo Submarines, Guardians Breakout and Frozen ever after. What do you think will go in the next twenty years?

in disneyland i think nemo subs and autopia will be leaving in the next 10 years, star tours as well, the entire carousel of progress building thats now just a star wars store could be completely redone as well...hopefully

in ca I could see monsters inc leaving sooner than later.

Judson Green is long gone. That's why rides stopped getting axed.

That entire philosophy is dead and buried. And time has not been kind to it.

Time has also not been kind to Judson Green or Paul Pressler, or most of their lieutenants, but that's another story.

Have you seen Cynthia Harriss or Paul Yeargin lately? Yikes.

You left out the Pack Mules. The Mules must never be forgotten!!! :D

Side note: I did ride them as a kid, and in their own way, the living, unpredictable Pack Mules were their own category of scary, intimidating thrill ride!

I think Splash counts enough since Disney wants to change it enough to erase what it is form existence. If America sings to CoP at the time counts, than Splash counts.
Using that analogy, I would agree. Similar to Superstar Limo -> Monsters. (I know those aren't major attractions, but with things like Motorboat Cruise and Midget Autopia in the original post it seems worth mentioning.)
