Today, I was woken up from a big clap of thunder. I like outside and its ALL black. The tropical storm thing was like, right on top of my area. So anyway, Im thinking, "why not go to the parks today", cause I figured there would be no wait times. I went with my bro, for some "bonding time" despite recent family problems.
We first went to MS, and we did it twice...He loved it, and its his favorite ride now also. Anyway, I got some updates for y'all....

--Fuge Red wasnt up (atleast when was I was there) today at MS
--Cool Wash, or whatever that thing is by the TT exit, with the car and all that, is under construction
--Thunder Mountain was being painted as part of the rehab today. I can only imagine how many questions they got about it being closed. The scafolds, I guess there called, are set up all around the "butte" ( funny word) part of the mountain
--They have a GIANT stage set up in between splash, and the POC walkway, for Night Of Joy
--Speaking of the event, the park closed at 6 today, and media crews were all over the park
--We did Winnie da Pooh for the first time since the rehab. The safety gates are just yellow with blue trim, and I really didnt notice anything else through the rest of the ride
--No Philharmagic for me:cry: ...From what I can tell, you enter the theater thru a door by the Tinkerbell's Treasure's shop. The Fastpass machines are right under the "Philharmagic" sign, and from what I saw, alot of work still needs to be done.
--A new sign was put up in front of Splash Mountain
--All the rides we did today (Splash, Space mtn, MS, Pooh, TOT, Muppets, all monorails, Indy Speedway) we never waited more than 10 minutes for any of them
--Something I noticed on TOT: In the Corridor scene, when the window swirls and all that...Well, are window kept going from black and white (normal), then fading to blue, then going back, then fading to blue...It was weird
--RNRC was down for rehab
--NY Street closed at 5 today for a 5K run through MGM

And I got a story today...

I had some extra money...and time...so, we went to go look in the Indy shop. I got two rings, and went up to pay for them, and handed them to one of the two Cm's working at the register...So, I bought one of the Hermitite rings, I think there called. So one of the Cm's go, "He's buying one of those hermaphrodite rings"...and Im just looking at the woman, like "did you just say what I think you said"...and the other Cm was like "oomigosh, I cant believe you just said that"...and the other Cm was like "What, What did I say"...and I just walked away, and the other Cm had to explain it to her.

(look the word up if your lost...then reread):D

Anyway, I got piks of the stage, new Splash Mnt sign, POP CENTURY ENTRANCE SIGN!!! (contain your excitement:lol: )...and some other stuff...they'll be up later

Geez. You were at MS and we didnt run into each other? Dang! Oh well, managed to get to 250 flights today.

If you saw the lady who was being attended to by the med team and you didnt know what was going on, she fainted while the ride was going on. She didn't get any big injuries but it was obvious that she was very disoriented.

The CM over at the outpost was more than like Patty joking around. But if it was a woman with a 70 style hairdo, you were more than likely dealing with Robin, who many believe she has PMS everyday (What did the person look like?)

Chances are, Ill be out there tomorrow so if your out there, just look for the commander jacket.

And also, why dont you just make an offical MS thread that way we can keep everything for the ride in that thread unstead of making a new thread for everything (Like your updates and all)

:p: I managed to get inside PM today :p:

Ive noticed that same thing in the tower a few times, must be a new effect.

Question my man, what was that yellowish ball in the sky earlier today?

I went on M:S for the first through fourth time this past weekend (Labor Day). What a "BLAST"! :D

Here's our ride break down:

1: Gold - First time, we were all nervous. It was Awesome but the force feed back on the joysticks didn't work. We were in group 4. (We didn't know about the force feed back then so it didn't hurt the ride experience.)

2: Red - Of course that was after waiting to ride the Green one.
We got into the briefing room and Gary gives us his speech about how we really should get some more training. ;) and when the point comes for the CM to open the doors in front of us, nothing happens. After about 2-5 minutes they open the doors behind us where we came in, and explain there is some difficulty with the green fuge and that they are trying to work it out.
I then over hear the CM ask into his radio if the "Protein problem was taken care of yet" :hurl: Yep someone didn't hold on to their lunch in the green. So they moved everyone to red.

3: Blue - Awesome. This was on Tuesday after Labor day. There was no one in EPCOT. But it looked like they were having some problem with the fuges. I don't think they had all four running. Anyway a 25 person line took like 10 minutes, because no one was moving.

4: Gold - Awesome. Same day as before, but this time everything was working great, so we just walked right on. There really was no one in EPCOT. I rode TT twice this morning without getting out of the car.

In the end we got to try all 4 ride positions. That was cool, and we played the after ride game once. That was also a lot of fun. Its an awesome spot for people who don't want to ride.

TTFN!!

I went to the parks yesterday. They were completely dead. RnRC and ToT were both walk-ons, and neither had Fastpass up and running. It was neat to be able to just walk into the G-Force lobby without being held up at the control point outside. At ToT I was able to walk into an open library, watch the pre-show, go through an empty boiler room and straight onto a waiting elevator. The bellhops were just telling people to take whatever seat they wanted. No waiting on the numbers first.

Fuge Red was down yesterday, too. The red LEDs above the door weren't even on. I did get to hear someone call out over the radio about a fresh protein spill though. :hurl:

Spaceship Earth was also down most of the afternoon with technical problems.

Great report. I was also at MK yesterday. I arrived at 4 with my school for NOJ. What time were you there? I didnt notice the sky looking like that the entire time I was there. It didnt rain one drop while I was there also, except for a few sprinkles while in line for Splash Mountain.

I was looking at your pics, ISTCREW, and I noticed that on Sunset Blvd with ToT in the background during the storm, it appears that they ahve planed new palm trees lining the streets. From what I remember being there last Christmas, the trees were REALLY high and skinny and slender. I remember my dad saying he wondered how old they were being their height. Anyway, the trees in the picture look much, MUCH shorter and stumpier. I wonder if they replanted them or if it was just the picture angle?? Anyone have any insights???
