WOW...OMIGOSH, Tifani and I had such a crazy day today. We did not ride 1 (one) single fun attraction all day long. All we did today was Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Ice Station Cool, and the TT Post show, if you could consider that an attraction. BUT, we did do tons of running around...for a very good reason...Wanna know why?...Im cracking up as I write this, but TIFANI LOST HER PHONE AGAIN. Many of you remember, in an update awhile back, Tifani had dropped her phone into the water on Splash Mountain. She got a new one last week, and lost it today, but thats only half the story...heres the update first...
Tifani and I started our day at MGM, went to Epcot, then went to Animal Kingdom Lodge, Then went to West Side and saw "Along Came Polly"...then we went to Wilderness Lodge, then it was off to Magic Kingdom. Then it was to the Contemporary, then to the Marketplace, and then it was a walk over to West Side, and then to DisneyQuest lol.
At MGM...
--They have the Front Facade for the Entrance of the Stunt Show up. Its just black now, and it looks ready for a sign to be put on it (even though its entirely to early). The big towers (as you could see from the picture on the main page of this site) are beginning to take shape aswell...I got Some really good pictures
--They have started construction on ANOTHER New York Street facade. This one is on the left side, facing the SkyScrapers. Its, like, the 3rd building down.
--The RNRC stand-by LED sign wasnt working.
--They have a part of the whole parking lot blocked off. Thy have fencing all up in the lot, with signs on it. They also have blue Disney construction walls around the side where the walkway to the Boardwalk is.
--I found out that "The Making of the Haunted Mansion" movie set got enough funding to stay open til APRIL! It was supposed to close January 1st.
--The Haunted Mansion merchandise cart that used to be outside of the HM Movie Set has been removed.
After our MGM visit, we went to Epcot.
--On the bus ride over, we kept using our clackers (one of the reasons we were going to epcot was to drop kenan's clacker off...hes gotta keep up his title lol) ANYWAYS, people on the bus said some pretty mean things to us. Im sure Disney wouldnt of sold the merchandise if they didnt want us to use them.
--TT was closed when we got there, so Tif and I went and played in the deserted preshow area. We did DreamChaser twice, and took pictures in all the cars. We also registered to "be an instant winner" but the form was to long, so we didnt.
--Tifani kinda, "got lost" and got great pictures of SOARIN!
--Nothing new is going on on the inside of The Land. The Soarin Posters are still there, and havent been replaced by better ones.
--We also went in Ice Station Cool, and had the most fun ever in there. The snow was piled SOOOO high. Almost covering the whole wall. Tifani went and got the shovel, and a whole bunch of snow fell right on her. Then we went to drink soda. The Fanta was back in stock. We did Berverly outside. No one lost it this time.
Then we went to West Side. We saw the HILARIOUS "Along Came Polly". It was a REALLY good movie. We were laughing so hard, I almost "Sharted" (go see the movie lol). If your in the mood to laugh, go see this.
After that, we walked to Marketplace to see what has changed over there.
--The completely redid the outside of the "Ariba's Brothers" store. It looks alot nicer now.
--Earl Of Sandwich still isnt open.
--They changed the "Goofy's Candy Shop" into "Sweet Memories" I think its called.
--They changed around the bus stop numbers for the hotels.
--Tifani and I were walking thru the old photo shop. They moved the Mad Hatter hat that was in the Alice room at WOD into there. There was a giant tennis ball sitting on the floor, so Tifani and I played a half hour game of 2 square. Boy was that fun. Tifani kept hitting the ball into the Kodak picture machine though lol.
So here is where the fun starts. We were sitting at the Marketplace bus stop, waiting for a bus to WL, to boat over to MK. I called my mom to see whatsup while we were sitting. After I was done, Tifani called her mom to see whatsup. The bus came, and she had her phone out. Fast Forward 35minutes, and we're sitting in WL, and Tifani's asking if I got her phone in my bag. Well, we soon found out that she left her phone on the bus. We went to the front desk, made some calls, filled out a card and talked and talked. Well, the lady told Tifani to call "Central Lost and Found" tomorrow morning. Problem with this was...Tifani didnt want her mom to know she lost ANOTHER phone, and wanted to get the phone back before we were picked up tonight. She said to call back in an hour and half. By this time, it was 6-45, and we wanted to see Wishes at 7. We didnt have enough time to get over there, so we boated over to the Contemporary, and watched Wishes from the 10th floor balcony. It was AMAZING! It looked so great. They also played the music on the 4th floor, but you could here it from all the way up at the 10th.
So we went and mingled on the 4th Floor for awhile, waiting for an hour and a half to pass. We went to the front desk and didnt get anymore help. We decided to give in and just go home. We got to DisneyQuest and Tifani called her mom, (with my phone card, that I just so happend to throw in my bag today). Tifani's mom questioned why she was using a pay phone, and Tifani lied, saying her battery was low. Then Tifani looked at me, and started cracking up laughing. Her mom had known she lost her phone. From here, it gets sketchy, but the people who found Tif's phone had answered it when Tifani's mom called it earlier on. The people said they just had found the phone. Tifani's mom asked if they could drop it off at Virgin Mega (where we always get picked up at). So, Tifani's mom said that her phone was avalible for pickup at Virgin. We were like, STUNNED! lol...
But yea, crazy day. Thats not even, really, half the stuff that happend, but that will do for the night...Pictures up real soon
