So...we're gonna forget what happend in the last update, and do this one right...

Im sitting in my computer chair, with a big thing of ice on my knee. Why?...I'll tell ya later...

So, I was supposed to be meeting Jason, Tifani, and Leonardo at MGM at 10-15. Well, there I go, waking up at 9-40. I didnt have enough time to get ready, and get there, so I call Tifani, let her know Im gonna be late, she tells me Leo aint coming. So I get to MGM by 10-40. I call them up, and they (Tifani & Jason) were still on the Parkway. So I went into the park and looked around a bit. While there I went and asked for 3 tickets for the Live Taping of "Who Want to be a Millioniare"..So I get the tickets, and go sit in the Indiana Jones show to pass time. 5 minutes before the show starts, they call me telling me they are at the front gates. So, I gotta ask everyone in the row to move for a sec so I could get out. So anyways, I met up with them, and we took on MGM...

--The Chicago Facade is now complete.
--You can get an EXCELLENT view of the complete Stunt Show construction sight if you stand on the wooden boxes by the handicap ramp by the HISTK playground. I got pictures
--The Backlot Tour is indeed closed.
--They had signs up everywhere for tickets for the live taping of Millionaire. We didnt go see it (even though we had tickets) because the show before us was running late, and we didnt wanna wait.
--The 3 of us got pictures with Lilo and Stitch. Lilo was a FWIREQUAKA. She gave all 3 of us wet- willies, and she got all sad when I didnt wanna take a picture with her (Im a Stitch Person) but I got to give her a kiss and we made up.
--A new Concession stand was built in the RNRC plaza area. When we were walking In to the plaza area, I thought it was a radio station truck, but I guess thats what it was themed to look like. Strictly smoothies, pretzels, and hot chocolate...

AND BOY WAS HOT CHOCOLATE NEEDED TODAY! It was
FA-REEZIN (lol Kenan)...It was SOOOOO cold. Windy and Freezing.

After MGM, it was off to Animal Kingdom!...

--We went and saw Festival of the Lion King, and I forgot they had enclosed the theater. Nice, NICE addition. Everything seems alot louder, and it was heated (a BIG plus). It did make the overall area of the stage seem smaller though.
--Im no construction worker, but I guess the EVEREST construction is going good. They have this hut thing built, and they are now building decorative rockwork on the base of the bridge.
--The giant orange dinosaur at the entrance to Dino Rama has, what looks like, Spider Viens popping out of it. Really, it was just the paint peeling, but it didnt look like it.
--Though this is not really news, Tifani asked me to post it. We were walking thru the Oasis, and some kid in front of us walked right into the pole, and made this really bad sound, and it hurt, but we were laughing...happy tifani?

After AK, It was Off to MK...

--The entrance to Timekeeper is now home to Mickey's Star Trader's gift shop. Oh, and yes, they now carry the same line of merchandise Merchant of Venus carries (those shirts).
--We did the Teacups twice, and all 3 of us seemed to think that the giant turn-table was spinning at a MUCH slower pace.
--The posters in the train tunnel were replaced, by smaller, badly framed posters. The frame is real bad, I dont like it.
--Just want to say: 3 PEOPLE IN A DOOMBUGGY-BAD IDEA!
--We saw Wishes tonight. It was probably the worst showing of it I have ever seen. No Tinkerbell, and the Finale was bad. You cant blame the park though. It was really windy. The finale just showed the castle changing colors for like 1 minute, then a giant explosion, and thats it. As soon as Wishes was over, the wind picked up, and Main Street was covered in smoke.

So after that, we walked to the Contemporary, bought some cookies, and watched Toon Disney at the Food and Fun Center. Then we went to DTD, walked around in the shops, and went home.

So, I got home, took off my shoes, then went sock-skating in the kitchen. Make a long story short, I FELL! and I hurt my knee, hence the ice, even though its crazy cold, and we got the heat on...

Anywho, pictures up soon:D

EXCELLENT update!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

I must say that it was full of self-caused pain though, lol. That kid and you! .... *Shakes head in disbelief* sock-skating...:hammer:

Anyway... kind of a bummer about the Wishes thing... it would have made a bad first impression on the guests that were seeing it for the first time.... but, you're right... it was because of the weather..

And speaking of weather... you dont know freezing until it's less than 20 degrees for the whooolllleee daayyyy :(

Great job, Pat! :D

Well I certainly hope the RNRC food stand has a larger selection later on. That's actually not a bad spot to have something like that.

Yes it was definately a windy frigid day by Florida standards, I was waiting in line at Disney Quest before they opened, everyone was jumping around shivering, and later in the evening i went to Pleasure Island, the wind had really picked up but I had a good time, it was the first time ever I went into the Adventurers Club, if any of the CM's there read this, thanks for the show! it was great! and the very same for the troupe at the Comedy Warehouse, they are awesome. It was a pretty good night even if I was all by myself.

I'm originally from NYC, I know exactly what cold is.I know that it was much colder up north, but with the windchill it was near 33 yesterday.

I dont care what tempeture it was yesterday, it was COLD!

Tifani was actually running (she NEVER runs) to keep warm. We actually ran all the way from Kilimanjaro Safari to Legend of the Lion King to get warm...and then we get in that hot theater.

But, yea I consider it cold when all my knuckles crack when i was trying to get my camera out my bag. It was ok though, atleast it wasnt scorching hot.

And to add to it, When I got home, I found an un-wrapped peice of gum at the bottom of my bag, and I took it out, and it woulnt even break, it was like rubber.

And Grizz, dont forget, they have the "Chicks Rule" shirts in there too. I guess MST is down for rehab, and thats why they had moved the stuff, but I dont think moving the shop to another location should have been their first priority...It will just cost more money to run, and they even have a register stand set up there, that looks perm.
