Isn't it funny how some grown people won't admit they willingly go see animated movies? I love these lines, "I saw ______, cause the kids wanted to see it", "I went to see ____, I took my little brother, he wanted to see it", and so on. Dude, just admit you went to see it for yourself and that you liked it, no one's gonna make fun of you. Finding Nemo is the biggest movie of the summer, stop making excuses.

I agree... depending on the film. Finding Nemo, I would admit it... Aladdin or Sinbad I would... Little Mermaid I shyly would... Piglet's Big Movie I went because of Nicholas, as well as Jungle Book 2. Of Course the free tickets had an effect as well.

Good observation!

What's even funnier is the look they give you when you tell them you went to see one of Disney's animated films last night!

It's more a look of envy than surprise!

Well... the main reason why I don´t go to see cartoons, is because when they come here, they are dubbed so the kids can understand it. I hate listenning to the voices in Spanish. They are usually of known actors and actresses so I can´t help but think of them. Plus, I like seeing them in their original audio. I will have to take my nephew sometime soon though, so I will have an excuse!
(I think they are having Nemo here in two versions: with subtitles, and dubbed. Yeay! I am going to the subtitles one if I go alone!) :)

Well, people at my office asked me weeks before it came out whether or not I was going to rush to see "Finding Nemo" on opening night. My secret has never been a secret.

I don't need to hide it... all of my friends, and my husband friends, and friends of friends know that I'm a Disney lover, and so I'm just a big kid at heart. I am very glad though that my kids like to go too... to most of them... and if not I just go with a friend that loves Disney as much as I do. :D
