Islands of Adventure Trip and Photo Report

I just posted and Islands of Adventure trip and photo report on my blog. It was an eye opening experience in a theme park experience other than Disney. A nice report - thanks for sharing. I enjoyed my one trip to IOA (Hulk, Spiderman etc) but sadly, Universal are just not in the same league as Disney when it come to theming

Thanks for the report! I'm glad you had a good time at IOA, it truly is the closest thing to Disney you can get.

By the way, I read in your report about the Explorer not falling on JP river adventure. That's b/c the IOA version doesn't have the Explorer part. It was replaced by the raptor's cage which is suppose to fall as you pass under it.

I'm not sure if they have jeep sitting somewhere in the ride or not (I haven't rode JP since last September my memory fails me ). That said, IOA did not get the drop effect that Hollywood and Japan have.

It's a raptor container that falls, not a Jeep or any type of car.

Always has been in Orlando.

Yep, I went on youtube and watched a ride video, the jep you are referring to never had any action applied to it.

You can think what you want, but at IOA the jeep never moved. It has had no effects attached to it from day 1.

Correct, I've been going to IOA since BEFORE day 1 and it never had any effects

The video you're watching is probably from Hollywood. I just watched it and the jeep does have effects out there, but not here on the East Side!

IOA's version doesn't have a jeep, prop or otherwise.
