Is your spouse "Disney Dumb"?

I don't think my DW is "Disney Dumb" - She knows that I know more than she does (by virtue of visiting here) and she is just happy to let me plan our trips

We BOTH get lost and confused at Disney's Animal Kingdom though.
We've been there at least 6 times and still get lost.
The park that gets me the most mixed up is MGM, what with all the dead-ends, and the maze of city-like streets in the back.

The rest of the parks, I could navigate blind-folded most of the time, but for some reason I lose my bearings in MGM way too easily!

While my wife isn't usually Disney dumb, she's still learning all of the devious ways to navigate through the MK at full tilt with a stroller while a parade is going on. :D

My GF took her first trip EVER to WDW with us this past January. My parents and I are Disney veterans and I'm a total Disney nut. She really caught on quickly and pretty good at picking out songs from the park playing on my iPod.

The biggest surprise on our trip came when we got off Spaceship Earth and she said she really liked it. After going to Cedar Point for a week the previous summer and getting her accustomed to big thrills, I figured that she'd be bored with SSE. Guess not! :sohappy:

Well, I wouldn't call my spouse Disney "dumb", but I will call her Disney "dependent". I do it all for our trips. We're going next week and she wanted to know if I had a typed list for our trip yet. I tell her where to go and what to do while there and she is happy as long as she gets some shows in.

As for your husband, I also think he's yanking your chain, but I think it's funny. I'd do the same thing if I was married to you. Must be a guy thing.

That is too funny. I don't have a problem with my husband about not knowing where the rides and resturants are located at any park. I do like to plan ahead and make a list of where we are going and where we are eating. It has nothing to do with him just the way i am. You could ask him what ride is located where or what ride is located next to another ride and he could answer right away.

For me it's not so much my spouse, since she is very familiar with the parks as am I. But the entire rest of my family and friends...forget it! My wife and I will sometimes go to WDW with our families or with a few friends, and I am always the DTG(Designated Tour Guide) They all think we are crazy, cause we go to WDW so often and know the parks layouts and restaurants. They think its some kind of weird obsession. Although I do not mind playing tour guide when we go to WDW, I do wish we knew someone into it as much as we are, since I think it would be fun to go with another WDW nut! :p

Hey that was me until I met my husband. My family made tons of fun of me since I go to Disney like every 3 months or so. They don't understand what I love about it so much. When they come with me I am their tour guide. Now that I am married my husband and I love to go together since we don't have to be anyones tour guide. He use to be the tour guide of his family.
