Is "Wishes" a Hit

I just saw Wishes and though it was awesome! I'm curious to see if the other guests are feeling about it. Is it better than "Believe?"

I believe its a hit, even though I havent seen it yet. But everyone Ive talked to so far, as said nothing bad about it. They have all been great reviews, and im DYING to see it!!! I just havent had anytime to go, but hopefully this upcoming week I will. I seen the Believe show on video, and they use somewhat of the same music, I think, or from what I can remember.

We saw Wishes for the first time last Saturday night. It was phenomenal. There wasn't a dry eye among us. I really believe Disney has outdone itself on this one! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

I think you answered your own question. It is awesome, and that may be the first time in my life I have used the word awesome to describe something other than Bill.

It depends on who you are and where your from...(what?) alright, lemme explain. Wishes and Believe are roughly the same shows, with the same music, designed by the same people. In my opinion, Wishes is better (havent seen Believe, only on video) but, people will say Believe is better. I grew up with Disney WORLD, so I will always like everything there better than anything at any other Disney parks, but people who grew up with DisneyLAND, will say everything of theirs is better. So, Wishes is a big hit, I dont understand why they dont advertise it, like they are doing with MS, and Philharmagic down here. I know my history teacher (who works MK attractions) has told everyone in his classes, to go see it, and everyone who has loved it, so Im thinking its not bad, as I havent heard one bad review on it. I loved it, My friends loved it. Everyone did.

(Sorry about all that useless junk...LONG day, and havent been to the parks this weekend)

I agree with you ISTCrew-- it does depend---
I was at Disneyland this summer and saw Believe and thought it was one of the best fireworks shows I had ever seen. It was so amazing, and you could see it from not only Disneyland, but California Adventure, Downtown Disney, the tram stops, and even the parking lot. People were stopped everywhere it was so unbelievable. When I heard more info about Wishes ( in the last few months) I realized that they essentially have the same storyline/theme, and knew they would be similar shows. I have not seen wishes, and I know that there are some new "tricks" in this show, but from what I've heard, I think they are very much the same. Therefore, I think it does depend... some people are just biased to one or the other, but I think they are more or less the same show.

Having seen both Wishes & Believe, I must say that Wishes is by far the best of the 2. However soon Disneyland will have a new show "Reach for the Stars" (I believe that's the working title) that will probably top Wishes. So will just have to wait and see.

Believe is fine..if it aint broke, why fix it?....If that is true, I just hope they dont use the SClub 7 song, under the same title, for the basis
