Because it doesn't work. Birds aren't stupid. They quickly learn that it is a recording and they then go back to business as usual.
What if they introduced cats into the parks......................

I actually have a live recording of that sound that I made during a recent research trip. I'll try and locate it and post it in the Downloads section of my site for you.

I wonder if I downloaded it, and put it on a cd, and played it on a continuous loop in my driveway if that would keep them away from my house, deck, car, front porch, mailbox, and trellis's. :lookaroun

Seriously would doubt that. Even if it did work it would become extremely annoying, you would want to rip apart every bird that you saw.

Yeah, you're right. A cross bow does sound more fun. :drevil:

We actually have a dead bird hanging off our house. He accidentally hung himself in his nest and we can't get to him to get him down because it's too high. Good thing my dad comes home from Africa wednesday. Maybe he'll get a ladder and get it down. I had hoped that the dead bird would scare the others away. It didn't work.

You're going to introduce cats to a park run by a mouse ?

:p

There's actually at least one domestic cat that's made its home at the Magic Kingdom. I saw her all the time late at night after park close in Frontierland. She was pregnant last time I saw her over by Pecos. Maybe there's a bunch of little ones running around too?

We saw that cat in February right by the entrance ramp to the resort monorail. We couldn't figure out how it could have got there.
