Is this really a thing or is it April 1ST? Cabanas in the parks.

Yay! Victory! But the plan is still to implement some sort of cabanas somewhere, right? Do we know? Mice chat acted as if Disneyland was all over this idea a few weeks ago. Are they still actively trying to find a way to make it work. Just not so ... ugly and in the way?

I believe that from the beginning the cabana's were a temporary test, if for no other reason then to test the acceptability of them even if people didn't want to pay that much money for an non air conditioned tent in the hot Florida sun. The took them down weeks ago if I recall. I was there last Wednesday and they were nowhere to be seen, but, it didn't surprise me because I felt that I knew that they already took them down.

That doesn't necessarily mean we have seen the end of them, however! It might mean that they got enough interested inquiries to take it up a step and put in some permanent structures, complete with climate control and no chance of one of those famous sideways storms coming in and making them airborne. If they got any real interest, that may be in planning as we speak. Time will tell. For the time being, however, they are gone.

Not sure what you were looking at, but they were definitely there to be seen on last Wednesday. The photo below was taken by the lovely and always entertaining, @Tuvalu on Friday.

Yea I heard they caught some people doing something inappropriate, and that was kind of the deciding factor, lol. I wonder if that's why most of the resorts don't have them as well.

To be honest if you've paid for a private cabana, have the 'door' closed and aren't making any noise , then I don't see the problem. Just to clarify that I wouldn't do this myself as firstly I'd prefer to wait to get home and secondly my wife wouldn't agree, but each to their own.

Well, that has me puzzled because I didn't see anything, from the people mover (I went around twice) but, Space Mountain is round so perhaps it was at a hidden angle that I couldn't readily see. If that is true, what in the hell is all the fuss about. Do we just like to complain or what?
Well we don't know what kind of Inappropriate behavior was going on it may also have been on the order of "pass me the bong dude...". I'm pretty sure that falls under inappropriate behavior. Though joining the "MK Club" I'm sure happened as well
As long as you are not peaking in the windows, which is actually more disgusting, I still don't know what the problem is. Listen, I hate rich people as much as the next guy, but, I see nothing there that should be any of my business or concern. :angelic:

Who needs to 'get a room', when you can get a cabana? If that's what they're being used for, then all Disney needs to do is charge by the hour and they'll make a killing.
I got behind a couple in line at PoTC a couple of days ago and I almost took out my credit card and offered to get them a room. I suspect that the guy didn't get out much because although he appeared to be in at least his mid 20's was acting like a high schooler. I'm not a prude, but, geez, there is a place for everything and in a queue line in a theme park should not be one of them for that activity.

Edit for accurate location.

I'm guessing a plaid went in to check if anything needed and discovered whatever was discovered
