Is this legit?

I was on facebook and saw a link to the following site off to the side: http://www.stayatwdw.com/

Supposedly, you can get up to 56% off the price of Disney Deluxe Resorts. I noticed that the only resorts they offer are Vacation Club Resorts, which makes me wonder, if is is legit, what the catch is. Do you have to spend a whole day doing a DVC Seminar? I typed in a 6 night stay in April for the Beach Club Villas and it quoted me a price of $1,493. Currently, we are booked for a 5 night stay at Coronado Springs in April and without any discounts, the current price is $1,411 and some change. So if this is legit, it would certainly be a good deal. Upgrade to a Deluxe Resort and add a day and only be paying an extra 80 bucks. But as the saying goes, if it is too good to be true, it probably is. :(

Anyone know anything about this site?

They are renting out DVC points. That's why it's so cheap. It's right there in their 'about us' page.

You are going through a consolidator who is trying to rent DVC points from various owners.

i don't know how they do it, but it is probably a place where people have dvc points they aren't using and willing to sell them deeply discounted. i would be hesitant to rent any points except from friends of ours who have dvc or Disney themselves

We rented points through dvcrequest for our Oct. stay and got SSR for seven nights for $1320. $13 a point. But then free dining came out and we are not eligible. So you really have to take a good look at what is a good deal.
