Is there going to be a new entrance into Disney Springs from Interstate 4 off exit 67?

I'm assuming you're talking about the map on the last page. FDOT has been talking about starting that after work wraps up on I4 Ultimate sometime 2020-ish. Actually the website hosting that report is FDOT's website about the "Beyond the Ultimate" project, so if you want more info on it that would be the place.

Meanwhile they've already torn up the intersection in front of my work so I've got at least 5 years of fun every day to deal with. :(

For sure.

They have done a great job of rethinking how a parking garage is built, and used. The concept of having 3 distinct points of entry on a garage with one being on the third floor should really help traffic move in and out quickly. The elimination of turn lanes is also helpful. Once the Lime garage is open and they get the surface lot reinstalled by marketplace I honestly don't see any good reason why anyone would have difficulty finding parking even on the busiest of nights. Additionally both garages are being constructed in a way that affords them the opportunity to add an additional parking deck if they should see the need in the future.

there will not be any surface parking by the marketplace once the garage is finished

its too bad they didnt just go ahead and build the additional deck now, as the chances they will ever add it in the future are super slim, as i'd think they'd have to shut the garage down to be able to do it, along with having to re set up all the crains and everything

There may be a slight bit next to the garage... the Orange garage has a brand new surface lot to the side of it that has yet to open.

That lot looks tiny. If it is an open lot (and not handicapped or cast only), I would never attempt to park there. The garage would be so much easier to find a space.

The access to it is extremely limited by looking at that second plan, btw. It doesn't appear to be guest parking to me.

It looks tiny compared to the parking garage. However, there's 6 rows of parking, Only slightly less than the former surface lots that the garage replaced.

Has this opened? It looked like you could exit off I-4 and head directly into the garage when I drove by two nights ago.

As of yesterday, no

The signs to exit I-4 say "Disney Springs" under Epcot but you'd have to take a bit of a circuitous route if you take that exit. The at grade part of the ramp seems to be done but where it goes up the incline to the BVD overpass there was no pavement as of last Friday.

By in large the majority of the traffic is coming from the direction of I-Drive and Orlando compared to the traffic coming from the opposite direction such as Lakeland and Tampa. No, I don't have the traffic studies but it's just logical that westbound traffic to Disney far exceeds eastbound traffic to Disney.

Either you're driving south along I-95 then pick up I-4 west to Disney. Or you're driving south along I-75, take the Florida Turnpike and, if not entering through the west entrance, also pick up I-4 west. Yes, that would be the majority of traffic entering into WDW.

Even though I come from Lakeland, I agree with you. The majority of traffic definitely comes from the east.
