Is there any way to block someone from seeing future plans they're involved in on MDE?

Through a complicated series of events including very frustrating things and a general aversion to waiting over two hours to vainly hope to fix them, resort plans ended up linked to MDE way earlier than they should have been and completely ruined a birthday surprise.

In the interest of potentially salvaging some of the situation, is there any way to block someone from going in and seeing plans? Can I disconnect them from the reservation and then add them later or something?

I realize probably not, but figured I'd ask before I resorted to "hey, don't go in there for five months".

One thing you can hide from them would be dining reservations. When you make them do not link any other guests to the reservation. Just leave them blank and it will fill them in as Guest 2, Guest 3, etc.

Also make sure that your privacy/sharing settings for the person in question are set to "see shared plans only", not "see all plans". That will at least limit them to reservations that they are specifically linked to.

But for a resort reservation it's probably more trouble than it's worth to try to work around having them be unlinked from it.

Alright, thanks a lot for the information, that'll be super useful when the date gets closer.
do they regularly go in there?
Eh, they went on enough to see the reservation.

Edit: To clarify, I wasn't worried until they called and asked "so what's with the hotel booked for my birthday?". Now I'm just worried they'll click in and see the special room type.

Just a word of caution when trying to accomplish this:
I had a friend book a surprise trip for my 21st. They created a whole new account with my name that ended up locking me out of both old and new accounts.
It took 5 years for Disney to fix it and get my old account (with all my magicbands on it) back.
