Is there any hope of getting Be Our Guest?.....

I know how crazy it is - I tried to book an ADR at our 180+1 day and it was totally booked. I waited a day, and then tried for our 180+6 day and I was able to get a reservation for then. KTaylor's post about the guests with 6 or 7 different reservations for BOG is outrageous and awful!

At 180 days I got 4:30 pm. I took it because BoG is part of the whole reason why I'm going on this trip. When I realized the park was closing at 7pm that day I tried for 2 or so weeks to try and change the reservation to a different day with no luck and finally just gave up, proud that I had a reservation for Linner and I keep telling myself that the park will be slower that day since it closes so early, right?

I recently got a BOG. Reservation. It was at my 72 day mark. It is for 9pm and the park closes at 9 but at least I get To go. Just keep trying it just randomly comes out from a cancellation. I was so excited when it showed that I was running around the house trying to find my wallet to do the cc guarantee. Chin up and have faith hopefully your fairy godmother will come through.

Just a heads up. we had an ADR there this past week. when we arrived to check in for our 4 time, there were people in line asking if there were cancellations or available tables. After we ate and were leaving, there were several families that were in that stand by line that did get in to eat that day. They must have been told to wait in that area (which was about 90 minutes or so), but they did get the chance to eat at BOG that day without an ADR! So yes, there is hope!

I'm still trying to get an ADR for our December trip, nothing was available at our 180+ mark. When searching on the website does it make a difference whether you search for a time using the Dinner option or a specific time? I've only used the Dinner category so far.

I do dinner and then 4 pm to see if something is available.

I would have been able to get it for Jan 3 (at the 180 day mark, not a 6 am though!), but we're planning on DHS/Epcot that day, so I'm looking at booking on Tuesday or Wednesday of the next week.

Disney was hesitant to maximize the full potential of BOG until they got a good idea of how it operated. Now that they've seen it open for 8 months, the executives want to maximize profits as well as offer more table service dining to accommodate guest demand and the need for more ADR's once MM+ is full force.

BOG has gotten some bad reviews from guests (along with some that like it). Read all interviews. If you find that those who lean negative on the place seem to have tastes more aligned with yours, then skip it, and be glad that all those people eating there aren't eating at Kona Cafe.

When is this release of more ADR's?

for our most recent trip (last week), we did lunch twice, and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend lunch time for to eat at BOG.

For the first time, we got there around 9:35 and were promptly seated around 10:05 or so. They open at 10:00 and this was a Saturday. Overall, it was a great experience as the entire staff came out to welcome us and we just really enjoyed our time there.

My son (infant baby) has a dairy allergy and since my wife is 'feeding' him we are always worried about requesting dairy free food for her. But with the process they have set up and the touch screen order process this was a breeze. By far and away the easiest allergy order process that we encountered while there. We sat in the West Wing and my oldest son (5) really really enjoyed this room.

The second time we ate there it was a Thursday and we arrived at 10:10 and were quickly sat around 10:20. We sat in the Ballroom this time and overall enjoyed it, but preferred the West Wing.

I highly recommend eating here for lunch. It's cheaper than dinner, much faster, and no need for reservations. The atmosphere and environment are still top-notch no matter dinner or lunch. A job well done for Disney.

Just want to encourage you to keep trying and check every day! My family decided on a last minute trip (decision made ~June 20 for a trip July 14-18) and I lucked out today checking for reservations and was able to get in for a decent dinner time. And there were several times available as well!

Now let's hope that Chantel stays away.....

Congrats! Out of curiosity, did you book it on the phone, the app, or online?

After all 58 posts, there is still no hope! Not one person has scored an August ADR for my time frame during the past 60 days! Boo HOO!
