Is there any confirmation of building work at Pop Centruy this year?

We're heading there in September and were wanting to stay at Pop Century, but from what I hear, there's going to be building work to do with the suites this year and i don't really want to be holidaying on a building sight.

P.S. how is All Star Music?

Notices of commencement have not been filed for any work at Pop Century for quite some time. It does not guarantee that something will not happen in the next 8 months but as of right now construction at Pop century is rumor and nothing more. It is also quite possible that if some of the rumors are true nothing will happen at the current Pop century but instead happen at its unfinished twin across the lake.

All Stars Music it great but if you have reservations at Pop I would keep them.

I agree. We have stayed at both and Pop is allot better than ASMu. You have to share a bus with all of the All Stars and it can be a pain.

I've never had to in multiple stays to all of the ASR. :shrug:

Then you have been incredibly lucky. The bus route starts at sports goes to music then movies then to your destination. Drop off is the same way. The only time it deviates from that pattern is during peak times when they can fill a bus to capacity at one stop. From a transportation standpoint I have always preferred staying at sports. First to pick up, first to drop off. The only down side its the trip to 2 other resorts when you really want to head straight to the parks.

I will agree that Sports is the best of the three. I've been a bus to Sports or Music (I can't remember which) that was half empty. I've been at peak times and at slow times to the resorts and never had to.

Heck, they all have there own bus stops at the parks now. I asked the driver of an empty Music bus if she could drop a huge group of us by Sports b/c the Sports stop was full. She said she couldn't. That they do not share busses like that. Of course, that was a bus driver talking so take that as far as you will. :lol:

If this article turns out to be correct you will not have to deal with any construction at the existing pop century. It will all be at the unfinished Legendary years.
