souvenier store at DTD? What kinds of things do they have? I'm big into trinkets for my office....pens, notepads, magnets, keychains, etc. and I used to get these items at Mickey's Marketplace but if this $10 and under store exists, I can't wait to shop there!

yes there is, but it's really pretty junky.

I agree - looked to me like factory overruns of stuff you can buy in Wal-Mart.....

Look around in Mouse Gear in EPCOT.
You can find some things under $10.

I was there in June, and agree with Nemo14....it was pretty junky. And, it was small and hot. :wave:

when i was there i got a couple of xmas decorations and books and mugs that were still on sale in the main shops for $12 so its not all bad but there is a shop called character something or other i cant quite remember at the premium outlets (i dont remember the name bacause i didnt stay outside long enough to se it) you can get scrapbook stuff in there pens paper ties shirts bags etc:animwink:

I agree that most of the stuff in the store is junky. But you may be able to find some of the trinkets that you mentioned.

I have read on other threads that there are some Disney Store outlets in the Orlando area so if you have a car you may want to try those places for some better quality discounted merchandise.

Maybe somebody reading the thread can give the location of the outlets.

It has a collection of items from the stores that are under 10 dollars, and then a lot of stuff they can't sell and reduced in price.

It is the same stuff that you can find in the other shops just in one small spot...............It's all junk.if you think about it.....

I noticed that the store was not air conditioned and very uncomfotable versus the rest of the more expensive air conditioned store. Personally, I could not spend more than a few minutes in the under $10 section. Like someone else stated, it has more of a flea market atmosphere.

Yes. Mickey Mart in DTD was recently voted one of the tackiest places in WDW. :ROFLOL: "A tacky flea market"
