see now bt are two companies also, (keep up) - bt whole sale, bt commercial - the latter of which pays bt whole sale for the phone numbers as does the cable providers.
The only thing cable has over sky here - is mainly considered to be infinatly better when it comes to on demand tv - programs when you want them rather when they are broadcasted. If your lucky you may get hd movies also (for £4 a rental :lookaroun )
