Is the toolbar a tool?

I've noticied this toolbar popping up now, and I'm just wondering if anyone thinks that its actually useful. I mean, links to reservations, the forums, search, and news can easily be integrated into the forums themselves, and they're already apparant on the main site. So, my question is, Is the toolbar a "tool" or just a pain?

I'm fine with it, but the colors really stand out when I browse. I'm a night color scheme user and it quite bright.

I dont see the need. Other then a change. If steve wants to add that i think he needs to delete the other links to the items 2 inches below. .....

Never mind.... I thought you meant in the forums. I think I liked it better before, but quite frankly, I go straight to the news from the links in the forums, and not quite often.

Also, I again have almost half of the screen wasted! It´s like all the way to the left now when it was centered before! Why me?? lol :animwink:

I like the search feature, but the rest I don't need.

I also don't like the postion of it (at the top) or the colors.

I do like the Search option though.

I think its fine.... and really, it only takes up half an inch on the top, is it really that noticable?

Then again, my resolution is set at 1280 x 1024

It's noticable if you use the midnight color scheme (the darker one). The bright color really stands out, but it doesn't bother me too bad because its such a small area at the very top.

Yeah, but even then.... its only on the screen until you scroll down.... most of the time I don't even see it cuase I'm somewhere other than at the very top of the page.

Date in UK?

I just noticed that the date at the toolbar says now February 14, 2003. Is the date according to the UK? Just wondering... I had not noticed before if the date matched the date where I am. Thanks!

I think its a good idea, because it enables me to get to all areas of the site quickly.
