Question for you Corrus, if you can answer it :lookaroun. Many years ago as a CM we heard rumors of the park expanding out across the access road in that direction with new attractions and shops and dining experiences and shops and shows and shops and did I say that we heard about some shops? But seriously, has the "poolboy" mentioned anything more along these lines?

Ugh, what is going on at this park?! American Idol, a Grad Nite performance hall, etc! Mine as well just have me walk in and kick me in the groin.

It's called progress. It works out from time to time.

I just hope the interior is first rate. If it is bench seats and cement I will be disappointed. Anyone know?
I can't imagine bench seats in an indoor venue that should be hosting concerts and touring broadway shows. So, more than likely, the interior should be first-rate.

Especially since it is being refurbed before being removed. I've begun to think Imayoyo and Corrus are punking everyone :brick: :lookaroun :p

The original plan was to have it ready to host bands by mid-april, but it's more likely going to be early June. As part of my new role I was able to learn more about the location and will be getting more info soon! I'll post what I can, but I'm sure some will have to wait, as usual. Sorry, I enjoy my job too much to cross the line.

As for the seating, I don't know. I'll check on monday and see if I can come up with a response.

a show or a ride?
I really hope a ride. DHS has been open longer than Animal Kingdom, but Animal Kingdom has more rides. The shows are nice, but I've never wnted to see more than 2 or 3 shows during one day, DHS will have 8 once AI opens and only 5 rides. I'm not counting backlot since it's not really a ride or a show. DHS needs at least as many rides as shows IMHO.

I thought the Backlot Theatre was going to be used for the indoor HSM2/3 show later this Fall. According to a few of the people I know over at TD, that is still the case.... does anyone have info to debunk that? It will also be used in between HSM shows for band day things, much like the Magical Music Day events at the other parks.

Yes, the Hunchback theatre is still going to be a High School Musical stage show that will replace Pep Rally and debut around the time HSM 3 comes out this fall.
