Is the Disney world "magic" still here?

WDW is Magic. It makes me feel like a carefree kid again. I don't go into the parks looking for broken this and that or mad cause a favorite ride is not operating that day. I go because of the lift it gives me and my family. We're all together and were having a great time.

As we used to say: "There it is".

I love that every comment in threads like this have to point out that they don't seek out issues and problems within the park. If that is what you think those of us who comment on maintenance issues do all day then you have seriously missed the point of our comments.

Anyway.

I don't think that WDW can ever lose its magic.

Despite being in the "Oust Meg" camp, the issues with TDO would need to be farrrr worse for WDW to lose it's magic. Afterall, the magic is what you make it to be. It's whatever you find enjoyment in and it's the people that you spend it with.

What WDW has been losing is its "edge". Its top of the pack mentality and its desire to "out-do" everyone else simply because they're Disney and they can. It has also been losing its full immersion into Fantasy and maintenance lags.

But the magic is still there.

I agree with many of the above statements.

Just becuase there isn't a whole lot of new and exciting things on the horizon , it doesn't mean that the place isn't magical still.

I see it everytime I am there. For me, it's not usually found in the big overrated spectacles and rides...but in the quirky, and the subtle, and the small details and often overlooked secret spots.

Definitely still magic.
