I think I know why they are keeping the top piece sitting over to the side. NASA called and with all the budget cuts they needed a new tip for their rockets.
We need Wreck-It Ralph.Just so it isn't Fix-it Felix working on it. That would be awful.
Everyone has been wondering what they are going to do with the pieces. You might be onto something...shoot the hat into space. That'll get it as far away from the front of the Chinese theater as possibleI think I know why they are keeping the top piece sitting over to the side. And just to think, Inside the magic, was posting on Facebook that it was being relocated. Sure looks like it
other persons that have demostrated their hatred in very vocal ways..Khaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn!!!!!!
suddenly.. a Al Burj Khalifa sized Hat.Just imagine this happening to the BAH.
I could see the Canadian Lumberjacks getting a lot of street cred if they accidentally took out the Sorcerer's Hat, Stitch's Great Escape, and the Leave a Legacy Tiles. They should've done this back in 2012 for the premiere of Wreck It Ralph. The movie's marketing budget could've paid for the demolition.
Kid: Look mommy, there's a guy who looks like a lumberjack going up in a high-reach toward the sorcerer's hat holding a gas-powered saw with a diamond blade!
Mom: Oh, don't worry it's all make-believe he's not really going to wreck it.
Dad: Um, right. WRECK IT, WRECK IT RALPH!!!!
Don't forget Imagination.I could see the Canadian Lumberjacks getting a lot of street cred if they accidentally took out the Sorcerer's Hat, Stitch's Great Escape, and the Leave a Legacy Tiles.
No one has officially said, but, all one has to do is look at how the have been cutting up the hat as they have taken it down to be reasonably assured that it isn't going to be put back together. I think it is safe to say... bye-bye BAH!Do we know for certain the hat is not going to be relocated anywhere on property? So happy the end is almost near for this thing. It was nice for a temporary addition, but it more than overstayed its welcome.
I am going to be very interested to see where this goes in how they are going to market the parks icon now???? Will it switch back to the Earful Tower? A new icon/logo? If this planned so far in advance, you would think this would have been implemented into merchandise like the magic bands, etc which still depict the hat.

ToT has been on certain maps for years. The reason why I think it doesn't work as an icon is that there's a ToT at 4 of the 5 Disney resorts around the world. Also just because it's big doesn't mean it's going to be an icon, like the aforementioned hat was. Tower of Terror's facade is simply a focal point, a "weenie", a large structure, something people look at, an attractive object etc.Actually the maps have ToT on them. Possible ToT could be the next icon. It certainly is big enough.
It is being relocated......... to a landfill. And just to think, Inside the magic, was posting on Facebook that it was being relocated. Sure looks like it
So being at two resorts is fine for an icon but four, with the one in question being wholly unique in design, is too much?ToT has been on certain maps for years.
