The real 50th anniversary of Disney parks was 2005 where they had everything ready..

I knew WDW would be light on 50th offerings and accepted it in the face of Covid. But with all the entertainment coming back to DLR, I'm just peeved all over again. It's a terrible look.

WDW is the Cinderella of Disney properties. We never get the attention or consideration the other properties get. And sadly theres no fairy godmother waiting in the wings to appear.

That’s because people come anyway and it has a better resort setting, they don’t need to compete. I don’t know maybe they have the creep crop of management at Disneyland but then they have to pack the parks since they only have 2 in such little space.

Which might be reasonable justification any other time. They needed to do better for the 50th.

I agree 100%!

I feel very let down that WDW is not getting anything big or cool for their 50th.

I think the biggest things I like, are:

(1) the new lighting on Spaceship Earth

(2) the new lighting on the Monorail!

We got new paint on signs and some gold decorations.

They got Spectromagic for their 20th, that’s huge for a 20th anniversary. Disneylands 50th bought allot of things in to WDW. Harmonious wasn’t even built for the 50th it was supposed to debut in 2020.
