Is Soarin' over California better than nothing?

And to think, they arent even removing something in its place. Wow, thats a novel idea...

Something new is always good, especially when its something like Soarin Over Cali....infact most people who whine about it coming to wdw fall into two categories....

-those who have never experienced it and think its just another attraction

or....

-those who whine but will be the first in line to ride it

First off, Soarin ROCKS!
Even I have managed to do this ride...and anyone who knows me, KNOWS how much it took to go on that...ROFLOL!
I am just disappointed in the fact that all these new attractions and shows are going into WDW, but very little is going into DL or DCA...other thatn TOT...which in my opinion is just sad! There is room to do so much more here in Cali...and I wish they would!
Then again we DO have HMH...
I hear so many people who want the HMH in Fla...what about the Small World Holiday??? Its cute too...and oh yeah....WE dont get Holiday parties either!

I did not read the other responses so this may have been said already. But If someone does not want it becuase it is California themed it makes no sense. The old circlevision film in the Magic Kingdom was not a file about Florida, nor is the film in China or in Canada. Heck last I checked, all but one of the pavillions in World Showcase have nothing to do with the geographic area. :animwink:.

So anyone who says they would rather a big honkin' bowl of nothing is shall we say, off...

well, obviously i'm in the minority here seeing as I voted no. but allow me to explain my choice. i'm so glad epcot's getting a new attraction (whole new building and all...i can't tell you how suprised i am that Disney's not taking an attraction away to make a new one) and i'm especially glad they're finally putting in an attention-getter on that side of the park. and i have absolutely no problem at all with a CA theme. BUT i really think that Disney should have waited to make a new film. i think every park should have different attractions (even if they are the same attraction, i think there should be variation between them...like all the variations on Haunted Mansions and PotC) well, really i probably should have voted yes, cause i think it is better than nothing....that side of the park really needed something, and i suppose they can always change the video later on.
