II'm going to Disney from August 21st to August 28th. Is purchasing the Lighting Lanes necessary during these times? I hear the crowds are much lighter during this time.

There will be a new system Lightning Lane system rolled out at that time, so it is difficult to know at the moment. It also depends on your experience in the parks. Have you been before?

I have, but never during this time. I hear it's lighter crowds during this time so I was wondering if it is necessary to purchase any kind of lighting lanes whether it's the multi pass or single pass

I went a couple of years ago from August 10th to 17th and it was fairly busy but not too bad, I looked at the wait times when I got home and the week after it was dead. I'm going this year from the 17th to the 24th so I'm hoping it's like that again.

I have a question about the new single and multi pass Lighting lane system.

I think when purchasing multi pass lighting lane IN ADVANCE , you get to see your selections BEFORE purchase?

For SAME DAY purchase of multi pass Lighting Lane, it seems you CANT see what selections you can make prior to purchase and could result in buying the service and not being to get return times for the attractions that actually need them?

What makes you think the process isn’t the same when purchasing on the day of your park visit? Is this personal experience, or have you seen it said elsewhere?

I don’t know for sure but I don't see why it would make any difference? I assume you are still given the chance to select up to 3 rides / attractions before buying.
