Is POFQ As Good As It Looks?

we’ve stayed there twice. most recently 10/17. it’s a nicely themed resort. loved the cobblestone street look to it. i found the small compact size of the resort welcoming. never noticed much hustle & bustle.
we stayed in building #4 with a garden view room. not far from the food court & lobby. 2 minutes tops.
we’re staying there again this coming november. looking forward to it.

Bus service is awesome~ first thing in the morning and late at night- they have one stop! During the middle of the day, they do hook around and cover the Riverside stops, but you are first on, and first off..... Boat to Disney Springs, quaint hotel that is pretty quiet. We love it!!!

Yep. Not the friendliest.Like I said, POFQ was our go-to and it was not a fluke that they seemed unhappy at the front desk. So although we like the surroundings and the small quaint feeling of the resort, it was enough for us to make the switch to CBR. POR another story, very good guest relations. You may not get back to the front desk very often during your stay, but it's nice to have a welcoming feeling and smiling happy faces greet you. If that doesn't matter to you, the resort itself is very nice. We are just excited to be there and the atmosphere at POFQ was kinda Joe vs the Volcano.Unfortunately, that is the nature of the hotel business. If you look up Disney resorts and bed bugs, its pretty much evenly spread across all of them. Its not fun and I feel for your friend but it happens.
I can say, I believe the unfriendly staff part. My last stay at FQ the staff was not really helpful but I had hoped I just got a bit of bad luck.

POFQ is the only moderate we’ll stay at. We much prefer the small size to PORS. The food court is great and the resort is beautiful to walk through in the evening. I have nothing bad to say about POFQ!

POFQ has been our home for many successive trips. Weve always encountered friendly, courteous staff. It begins with Arneil greeting us at the door as we arrive and every day as we go out and come back in from the parks. I was disappointed only once when I checked in without a welcome back greeting at check in, but it was a morning with long check in lines and was extremely hectic. Even the food service CM's have been helpful and cheerful every time we have eaten in the food court.
My only gripes are the small size of the food court, the more limited menu choices, the lack of a full sized restaurant (But its a short walk over to POR.) And the single very small sized hot tub thats available for the entire resort.
The smaller sized resort and peacefulness of the resort makes it very inviting for us and keeps us coming back.

Only reason I'm not a fan is the location. It's too far from the parks. Otherwise, I think's it's very nice
