No
Depends on how you tour.
If you have more time then you may enjoy one park per day better.
For the past 10 years I've opted for park hopper epsecially because my trips tend to be shorter.
I'll be going November 18-22 and as of right now I have a 3 day park hopper that is likely being dropped down to a 2 day park hopper as long as Christmas After Hours are held on one of the nights I'm there.
On these short trips I know what are must dos and what things I can be ok with skipping and I like to hit the highlights at each park.

For me it isnt worth it. The restrictions as they are now take away my use and therefore the value. Its all in how we use it and the way we configure our days during our trip. If you think about how you will use it and you add up the hours youll get, minus the travel times switching parks, you can decide the value to you and if its worth the extra money paid out. This past trip was the first time we didnt have the PH and we did fine staying in the same park all day. We did miss hopping for dinners in another park which we usually do.

It depends how early they are closing. Personally I always go for the park hopping because you never know when you'll get the itch to hit a ride in another park. However with the reservation period you have to wait for 2pm to start hopping between the park does force you to be efficient with your time.

Also depends on where you’re staying. We like hoppers because we stay at Boardwalk. It’s nice to have a morning at Magic Kingdom, back to the resort for naps/pool time then hit Epcot or DHS for the evening.

We generally go the end of the summer (late August and September) so the parks are open late. we love park hopping because it allows to take a break in the afternoon , get refreshed and then hit another park

I personally don't use it as much anymore. When on our Disney vacations, we move at a much slower pace. We rarely do rope drop so it's not worth getting the park hopper.
