Is Orlando's best mini-golf in WDW or somewhere else?

I know of Fantasia and Winter Summerland, which are both very cool. Are these the best mini-golf courses in Orlando or is there something else maybe along 192 or I-Drive that tops them?

I haven't yet played mini-golf at WDW, so I can't say if they're better or worse than the other area mini-golf places. But my wife and I love playing at Pirate's Island in Kissimmee on 192 next door to Walmart and Medeival Times. We have also played at Congo River Golf, which we enjoyed. Then there is that Hawaiin Volcano themed one that looks pretty cool, although we have never played there, as well as the Pirates Cove one, which we have never done yet. However, I was thinking I read that there is one right on Disney Property somewhere, which I would like to try this next time.

Speaking of mini-golf, which one of the Disney ones is supposed to be the easier of the two? I remember reading that one of them is very hard to play on.

We played in March, 2006 at Winter Summerland and played the winter course. This time we are going to play the summer course. We stayed right near Fantasia but wanted to hit the one near Blizzard Beach instead

I've played the 3 courses near property, and while the one by Target is by far the best, I still love the WDW's the best. I've had better luck at Winter Summerland and find it a bit easier than Fantasia. Although they are both quite challenging, you can't beat the theming!

What 3 courses near property are you referring to? And which Target? Thanks in advance.

Congo River (one by Target in Kissimmee - I *think* it's West Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy)
Hawaiian Rumble (State Road 535 by Wal*Mart)
Pirate's Cove (in the Crossroads near DTD)

The Congo River one is the best of those, it has two courses, live alligators and a paddle boat track.

The Pirates cove courses are my personal favorite, there's one in the Crossroads shopping center across from DD, also one near Old Town on 192 and I believe there is one on I-drive as well. The Disney courses are great but a little easier and more kid friendly than the rest. The best Disney one I would say is Fantasia Gardens but not the mini one the more golf like one that is kinda like a pitch and putt type place, where it is layed out like an actually golf course with a fairway and green and I think you get 2 clubs, a wedge and a putter. Definitly more challenging than any of the other courses around.
I will be down there the 24-31 and hope to play a few rounds.

The Fantasia course is fun, but it's hard! I shot what Tiger Woods would shoot on any given one an 18 hole par 72 course in on that mini golf course!

If you are of legal drinking age... do so. It helped the frustration and score the second time we played!

The other courses everyone else is talking about are fun as well, they're more of the traditional mini-golf courses. There's also a new indoor one under construction at one of the outlet malls. I can't remember which one.

Fantasia- wicked challenging, but not impossible. for teens and up
Winterland summerland- wicked easy at times. All ages

My favorite off resort is def. pirates cove. they have a fmaily course and a tough course. my family always goes to that one. plus if u get the bargin books you can say liek 2/3 dollars which means u pay half the price.

Alll 3 are tough to get to.

Winterland/Summerland bussing is terriblebly timed
Fantasia- take a bus to mgm or epcot and hitch the bus to swan and dolphin. walk through the lobby and out the front door. keep walking, cross the street and enter the parkign lot then walk to the golf course. its an excersie getting there.

Though if u have a rent a car you can pretty much go anywhere.
i havent been to winterland/summerland in a while so i may go down there next time.
