Is it a dark ride or is it best enjoyed at night? The description on the app just says slow ride. Thanks

You should check out Pandora at night though. Just walking around the land. It's very cool...
Agreed! I think one needs to see it at both day and nighttime.

Thank you. Will do. Also I guess I gotta watch pandora now lol
Not required really. My son hadn't seen Avatar before going to Pandora. He still appreciated both rides and the lands a lot.

We experienced Pandora when the park opened at 7am for morning EMH and it was still dark outside. While the ride is an inside dark ride, the queue was nice to experience in the dark. Of course, that was also because there was absolutely no line and we were able to ride twice back to back with no waits. None of us enjoyed waking up so early to be at the bus stop at 6am but we all thought it was worth it when we walked into Pandora and everything was glowing. It was a great way to see Pandora for the first time!

I've seen Avatar before, but when we returned from WDW we watched it again. It made me further appreciate the great job Disney did with the overall theme of the land and attractions, especially with the story line inside Flight of Passage. It all makes sense and everything happens like it does in the movie, in considerable detail.

If you can set aside the fact that the plot of Avatar is basically a sci-fi Pocohontas (right down to Grandma Willow!) the movie is really pretty enjoyable (a bit violent in parts for the kids). The special effects were cutting edge in 2009 and still hold up pretty well today.
