Is it worth it?

Usually our quick trips to WDW require nothing but a place to lay our head at night so the Value resorts are usually fine by me. We have stayed at a few of the Moderates over the years as well. This Christmas we have decided to do a 6 night trip. I want to make it special since this is going to be the just of gifts. My question is would staying at one of the pricier resorts make it more Magical? Which resorts will be decked out in Christmas glory? Is it worth spending more for the experience?

Thank you all for your inputs. Since it is 9 months away I have decided to go for WL. I started googling some of the past pics. and think this is going to be a good fit. Plenty of time to save for extras as well. Hoping there will be a dining plan offered between now and then there are still plenty of restraunts we haven't eaten at and am looking so forward to the Holidays. Wishing all a wonderful Easter.

You will love WL. Beautiful resort. We've stayed there a number of times and my wife and I had our fairy tale wedding there back in 2002. You won't'regret it! Have fun!
