Is it worth going to the castle restaurant just for desert?

My wife desperatly wants to eat in the castle, but meals there are so expensive. Do you guys think its worth it to go just for desert meaning is the value, quality, and variety good or are we just likely to be left disappointed? Thanks.

Well if your trip is a lengthy stay, I wuld highly recommend the dinning package. You save so much money for wut its worth by recieving a beverage, entree, dessert for a flat rate. You also get quick service meals and snacks included in the price. Then you would have no problem eating at the Castle, although it would not cost that mush to just get dessert at the Castle.

It's expensive. Of course with all things Disney you are paying more for the experience. We went the last time we were there and my kids loved the idea of eating in the castle. It's definitely something you always remember.

Huh? I have not found that to be the case AT ALL.

we have. we won't do any more character meals except for tusker house and crystal palace, and thats just to get into the parks before they open. and the selection of food listed at some of the buffets is horrible. here's the castle menu for breakfast. for $35 per adult that's insane. unless of course you enjoy powdered eggs and microwaved bacon. I would rather have a better meal at a decent sit down restaurant.
