Is it true the early hour into parks for resort guests is back????

I've heard people say that due to popular demand Disney brought back the early hour admittance to parks. I'm not sure if this is true or not. I'm going in July and when I find out they took it away I couldn't believe it. I just wanted to see if anyone has been recently and know if the extra early hour is back for resort guests????? Thanks a lot.

Animal Kingdom wasn't included initially.

Has it ever been suspended or just been renamed? I never knew that they stopped that program at all.

Early entry was suspended after the terrorist attacks, when tourism initially started to drop. But there was a lot of outcry from visitors, who suddenly were no longer receiving a benefit for staying onsite that they had received for the past 10 or so years...so they brought it back with a new name.

Do the parks open 60 or 90 minutes early? I seem to have seen both times listed. I remember on days when they had it in the past, we would get to the park an hour early and people were already inside.

Well, I believe (having only been to two early entries) that they start letting people in 30 minutes before the scheduled time and then drop the ropes at the time, so you can make you way down main street for those 30 minutes and make the rush to attraction X as soon as the early entry hour starts.

I'm sure I will be corrected if I'm wrong, but I know they let people into the park before the hour actually starts, you just can't do much of anything until it does.

I called Disney myself to get all the info. They told me they start the buses at 730 and they start letting us into the park at 800. I was one of the people that complained about them taking the extra hour off, but its back and if it works like it used to its the greatest perk.
