Is it too early to start planning a trip for December 2014?!? My fiancé and I don't think so, we just want to make sure we aren't crazy. We just went this past June, so we're excited about going again. Hopefully there will be some new stuff then, afterall, they have a year to build something like a character spot lol.

Also, we are hoping to stay at the Contemporary Resort, as it is the one resort she has always wanted to stay at.

I already have my Oct 2014 trip planned and adrs on my schedule, just need to book it all!
I also have my May 2015 trip planned too...

I thought it was normally to book Disney trips years in advance lol

It's been a couple of years since our last trip and unfortunately we are not going to be able to make it back down until 2015 at the earliest. We are thinking of trying the last week in April of that year and I even started a countdown online WAY back when we were 798 days out (just checked and we are officially 544 out now ).

So to answer your question, no - it is NEVER too early in my opinion!

I booked my December 2013 trip in July of 2012.

I booked my December 2012 trip in July 2011! (and started planning it months before that)

So, if the OP is crazy, we all are! And I'm just fine with that.

Never to early to start planning. Just make sure when you book that you work with someone that can add any discounts that may apply.
