Is it time to say goodbye to Voyage of The Little Mermaid?

I really like the show. It is full of old technology though. They just need to plus the show with digital film and upgraded projections to replace the 90's laser look. The Ursula puppet could use a facelift too to more accurately match the fantastic AA she'll have in the new FL. With that, the show should be gold for years to come.

Yeah, but it's boring as h-e-double-hockey-sticks, LOL.

Plus they are the most uncomfortable benches I have sat on in my life.

Wow, I completely disagree. IMO it is easily the most impressive theatrical show at WDW. The puppets are just awesome, on par or exceeding standalone shows people would pay to see on any stage. I didn't think it was boring in the least.

Don't close it unless it's replaced by something better. As we've seen sometimes the replacement is worse (Stitch) or there's not one at all (Pocahantas).

So I wouldn't be so quick to advocate closing something just because it's not up to 2011 tech standards or because there's an attraction that's kind of similar in another park.

I'll be honest, I wouldn't miss it because I never see it
Haven't been to that show in YEARS, because the 2 or 3 times I braved the line (it is still popular, not sure where you got that it's not) the vocals were AWFUL. My sister still attests that every time she sees it the signing is good, but I haven't really had any interest in going to see it. I would be actually excited if it got replaced because there would be something new in DHS, but I know some people would be devastated.

As for Beauty and the Beast, that is my FAVORITE Disney movie. The show used to be my favorite: about the 12th time I saw it. Now...meh. Its fun to watch, but I would like to see something new. HOWEVER, I don't want to see it gone forever. It's kinda like Spectro and MSEP. I enjoyed a break from Spectro and something new in MSEP, but now I want Spectro back again because I miss it terribly . What would be really cool is if they put in a Tangled show to go on rotation with Beauty and the Beast; maybe every few days they switch out: that would draw guests back more than once and offer a variety of attractions.

I love Voyage of the Little Mermaid. If anything needs to be replaced in HS its Sounds Dangerous.

Wish granted.

I wouldn't get rid of Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Its a show that is still very popular with guests. Plus, Disney has many projects going on right now and many spaces that could use a renovation MUCH more than this show. I don't see Disney doing anything with the Voyage of the Little Mermaid in the foreseeable future.
