Is El Pirata y el Perico (Adventureland Restraunt) ever opened?

We've gone many different times, (Spring, Summer, and Winter). Does it just depend or is it not opened? We'd like to eat there, but we never see it open.

When we last went in the Winter we went in and decided to go to Pecos Bill. We sat near the entrance to El Pirata and everyone coming in looked around confused. :dazzle:

It is usually only open at the busiest times of year. You will probably see it for the easter break time next. It was also recently turned in to a full service buffet as a trial, so who knows if it could turn to that permanently anytime in the future.

Busiest? I went in December and it wasn't open...seemed pretty busy then. And the fourth of july it wasn't open either. :dazzle: Do you have a schedule of when it's open? Any chance in the summer?

La Pirata y el Perico Restaurant in Adventureland I believe is open seasonally during some times of heavy capacity. I have never eaten there myself, but does anyone know what they serve?

I always go off-peak. Up till two or three years ago it was always open, then it went seasonal. Shame as I'm not big on burgers, and it was something different.

They serve tacos, taco salads, that kind of stuff. You can see a menu somewhere on here. I forgot where.

Hmm...hopefully it will be opened when we go, as it would be much better than Cosmic Ray's, and Pinnochio's Village Haus all the time!

I've been to Pinnochio's Village Haus a few times. Sure we like it, but we'd like something different too. :sohappy:

If the Noodle station is not closed?

I've not been since Sept 04. MK and The Studios were very boring for food - I can have a burger or a sandwich any time at home, I like something different on holiday. MK and the Studios just did not provide that.

Ahhh - but Epcot and Animal Kingdom :slurp:

I've eaten there. Its tacos and taco salads. Must have been something in the 70s/80s, but by todays fast mexican food standards its pretty, well, standard. I think the food could use an update. Nice atmosphere, being in Adventureland though.

It better be open when I'm there in 3 weeks! It's been open each of the last two times I've gone during April and March, at least during the lunch hours. The taco salads are quite tasty and I'll make sure to have at least one on my next trip.

Great Taco Salad. I ate there a bunch of times in the late 90s when it was open even durring non peak times. The last time I had eaten there was Feb 04 (the weekend after Presidents day), the last two times that I was back Oct 04 and Jan 06 it was closed.

Is it the same taco salad as at the Port Orleans Riverside? They have wonderful taco salads and getting one in the park would be great.
