Is Disney World your favorite?

first... I DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO THINK THIS IS A... BASHING THREAD... NOT AT ALL

Not one of those one's like "don't you ever get sick of disney" nope not like that at all

I love disney and am just as much of a fanatic as anyone else on here, trust me. I am just curious... yeah pretty much every person on here LOVES disney, but even though we do... we're still human and still have our own personal preferences and interests. Maybe some of you LOVE disney, but love... Paris, Scotland, Bermuda, Key West, Mexico... whatever... a little more

So I am just curious and I thought this would be an interesting question and to see the responses:

Is Walt Disney World your favorite vacation destination???

For me, it is very close... I'd have to say that it is, but... with my interests and my personality, both Aruba and Hawaii come VERY VERY close... but overall, in general I'd have to say Disney is my favorite

again, Hawaii does come very very very close though, and Aruba is just a step under hawaii...

What about the rest of yous?

For me it is the only place I want to go every year, but my wife has interests too so I don't always win out.

I would like to go and see Toyko Disnland, Disneyland Paris and Disneyland (done it once) though too....

I also want to see Disneyland, Tokyo Disney & Disneyland Paris

When it comes down to it, it is in fact a battle of Disney v. Hawaii. Disney wins out every year do to price, stilt walkers, and squirrels (the latter two of which Hawaii is sadly lacking).

Since I am not able to be in CA anymore (my home state) that is the place I would most like to vacation, but.....otherwise it's Disney all the way....tho Hawaii is indeed a close second.

Favorite place

Disney World is the only vacation spot for me!!! My fiance keeps telling me he wants to go to Italy, but I keep telling him that World Showcase is perfect!!! You can go to Italy, and France and England all in one day!!! In fact for our honeymoon he has begged me to go somewhere different,(since we are getting married in Disney World) and I finally said yes. We are going to Disneyland

Disney V Hawaii I think is one of the toughest

If somewhere to be like... "here's a 10 day free vacation of your choice ANYWHERE" I'd have to go Hawaii... I mean when i comes to my family or in the future my own financing... Disney is sooo much cheaper, plus being from boston... 3 hour flight to Orlando... or 13 hours of flying plus a layover to Honulu... (then have to take the little crop plane to Maui)

so Disney is my fav. but if given the free opportunity I'd have to take hawaii because... there just aren't as many opportunities to got here

Walt Disney World is my favorite vacation destination. We try to go every 2 years and have fell in love with Fort Wilderness since we purchased a camper. Second is Fort Walton Beach, Santa Rosa Island Florida. The best beaches anywhere. Third is a local campground which takes me 45 minutes to get there, Flint Creek Campground. It has some nice waterfront sites and nature trails to walk on. It makes a great weekend trip. :wave:

It's without a doubt my favorite. I can't think of another place that has SOOOO much for families to do together! And everything is so elaborate and the employees are so friendly, I just love it. I feel like I'm in heaven from the moment we pass thru the gates!

Any theme park, and yes I am including the Universal, Busch Gardens, and Sea World parks. Plus there's Cedar Point and...

Disney's the only place for me. My mom and I keep talking about visiting other places like London and Paris but for some reason we always end up back at the World so Disney World is my ideal vacation

Yes. I always know I will have a good time at WDW. I will be refreshed and rejuvenated, I can eat all I want to and walk off the calories while having fun. I can always find something I want to do. I know that every penny I spend will be money well spent. You just don't get that guarantee with any other vacation, IMHO.

Every now and then I get a craving to just go to the mountains and chill, or go to NYC and catch some shows, but when I start weighing the potential pros and cons of these other trips I always end up deciding on Disney.

Your doing it wrong my friend. BOS to LAX. 3 nights at the Disneyland Hotel. LAX to OGG. No crop planes AND you get a taste of the left coast park. How does anyone fly OVER a Disney park and not stop. :lol:

WDW is tops

I have to say that my personal favorite is WDW, but, 2nd on my list is Branson, MO. Anyone who has spent any time there knows what I'm talking about. Branson is my wife's #1 pick (over WDW), and both of my teenage girls love it, however, I think both of them would probably agree with me.

Ya know... i was kinda hoping to hear from someone that they prefer something else more than Disney...

I wouldn't think less of them, or un-deserving of them... but it does show how incredible disney truly is when... im certain about 95%+ of the members here would agree that Disney is numero uno

:lol: Try living in the middle of nowhere! Five hours to Disney (counting layover) versus...an eternity spent in transit to Hawaii (layovers in Chicago, LA, Honolulu)...but then again, long trips mean in-flight meals which are highly enjoyable.

We should discuss this "10 day free vacation anywhere" thing, though. I think I wouldn't even know where to start...anyone else? Probably Tokyo Disney, eh?
