Can i cast my to void out theirs Disney. Frozen and gotg are fine in the new epcot. How anyone misses the malestorm or ellen's of beyond me. Let's be honest about horizons it was incredibly outdated. it would like an updated journey. Keep up the good work.
So, then... what's with all the in-person and online surveys? Does Disney like to spend money on something for no good reason?
Absolutely not. There is tremendous value in targeted surveys that address specific items in specific terms. That is an excellent way to determine what customers, especially repeat customers, like, want or need. I have participated in a couple of those surveys over the years.
However there is also value in the unstructured comment on forums like this as to how many people feel about a certain subject, some of which may never come up in a formal survey. It is sort of like I height test balloon just to see what things look like.
I would think that they observe this and other forums enough to have a pretty good idea who the nuts and agitators are and who the people are who genuinely like WDW and want to see it get even better. That is probably difficult with some of us though. I am like a certain candy bar commercial; "sometimes I feel like a nut, sometimes I don't."

You're crazy if you don't think they can track you via the MagicbandsSurely, this can't be a serious question... Disney watching us? Pretty soon someone will say they are actually tracking us through our Magic Bands too.

Main things that Magicbands track are rides where Magicbands are used, transactions paid via bands, and rooms entered at resorts. No GPS trackers. That would realllllllly make finding lost people a lot easier but function doesn't exist.
I know there are no GPS location trackers in magicbands. (I have read the FCC certification files on the older models; I have not seen one of the new ones yet.) But the Bluetooth part of the magicbands that is used to trigger ride photos could be and probably is used to track crowd densities all over the park. If they could read the location that picks up magicband serial number xxxxxx then they would have the general location for the person wearing that magic band since the range is only a few feet. The part of the magicband that is used for room keys, purchases, park admission and such works more like and RFID tag and has a range of only an inch or two.
As a side note, that is how the travel times you see listed on interstate highway information boards is determined. There are receivers that detect the Bluetooth devices in cars and the look for those same devices further down the road.

True story. It was a time before MB but still the same. We had our credit card attached to our room card which is also your park ticket. The boys and I went to Blizzard Beach while my DW went to DTD shopping. She bought something and used her room card to purchase it. The woman waiting on her said "I see the rest of your family is at Blizzard Beach." I'm sure your purchases come up the monitor. Ours from BB and hers from recent purchase.
