We had breakfast there a couple years ago at a brunch sort of time around 11 am. It was a great experience with wonderful food, fun characters, great wait staff etc.

We had dinner there this past year and not so great. We had a long wait to be seated...well beyond our reservation time. Food was not so good, not being replenished quick enough and platters were empty on the buffet, characters were way too slow coming around and we were totally done eating waiting and waiting and after an hour and a half only 2 characters had been through. Wait staff was not good either. Maybe we hit an unusual bad spell but it was enough to leave a bad mark against them in my mind. We won't be back for dinner for a long long time. Breakfast we could possibly retry in a couple years...but just possibly...there are too many places we enjoy more.

Be our Guest lunch was a great experience for us. We liked it better than dinner there. Its on our must repeat every year list. We also really like Pecos Bills.

I'm personally not crazy about their food but when I travel with a die hard Winnie the Pooh fan then it's worth it. Otherwise I skip it.

16 year old and 13 year old. Both grew up with Winnie the Pooh and have meet him already at disney.

As Master Yoda said, if you're on the Dining Plan and want the character experience, yes. I will never pay for Crystal Palace again out of pocket. Our last few dinners there were incredibly disappointing for the price when compared to previous visits.

Our first dining experience in the Magic Kingdom was at the Crystal Palace for a character dining with Winnie the Pooh and friends. When we checked in they had our reservation stating we had a food allergy. Once we were seated a chef came out to our table. Since this was a buffet, the chef walked the line with us. He informed us of what was safe and then took our order. He went to the back and got us fresh items so there was no chance of contamination. We were served Ener-g tapioca dinner rolls with our meal. I took one and broke it in half. The texture threw me since it appeared to be like tearing apart a foam cushion. However, we didn't let that deter us. One bite was all it took to get us hooked. These were absolutely fabulous! We ordered seconds of the rolls. Definitely one of the best GF rolls we've ever had. For dessert we ordered the GF brownie. I have no idea who the vendor is for this item. I would say to avoid this like the plague, though. I've never tried a worse brownie. It was a very mealy texture and tasted horrible. Let me put it this way, after that first brownie experience, we were to chicken to try brownies anywhere else in case they were the same! Overall, the dining at Crystal Palace was a wonderful experience. It was nice to know that we had our own chef to look after us.

We've done b'fast & dinner. We prefer b'fast. Dinner was a nice "wedding reception" meal - decent, but nothing to rave about. Over the past 12 years, we've found their b'fasts to have improved. (I'm sure others have had different experiences.)

It's a must-do b'fast for us. Such a pretty building in the heart of the magic. I need to hug Eeyore and choke up with tears every summer. :joyfull:

1) It's a buffet. IMHO, no buffet at WDW is worth it. If you are into maximizing value by consuming mass quantities, then maybe it will be worth it. However, I try to watch what I eat, and also don't want to feel like a bloated whale comming out of dinner, so I rarely eat enough to justify the proice.

2) The food is OK, but it is nothing special.

3) The characters in CP are usually wonderful. If that is what you are going for, then yes, it may be worth it to you. When my kids were little, it was worth it for the character interaction.

About the only buffet that I really enjoy at WDW is Biergarten. I enjoy the entertainmant, and the atmosphere. The food is not bad, and they liter beers.

The real question is do you want Winnie the Pooh and Friends? If so, this is your best option to get those pictures in. I haven't been in a while but when I did, I liked this buffet for the salads and vegetable options. We do need to load up on fruits and veggies and there were some nice tasty options for those there.

If Pooh is not a factor, then I would suggest Skipper Canteen as a great catch-all. Multiple cuisines represented. I'd choose Be Our Guest for good food and atmosphere.
