Is Critter Country getting a rename?

With the conversion of Splash Mountain to a Princess and the Frog theme, is Critter Country going to be renamed? So far, all that will be left are The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Hungry Bear Restaurant, assuming that the new P&TF log flume ride will be incorporated into New Orleans Square.

This change opened another can of worms. You would have to leave New Orleans Square and enter Critter Country to ride Splash. Assuming a New Orleans set movie attraction gets annexed into New Orleans Square, the Critter Country name might as well dissolve

Just turn it back into Bear Country. I mean it would make sense, you have Pooh, and then Louisiana does have their black bear that is seen in New Orleans from time-to-time. So Bear Country it is.

Well if they can have "neighborhoods" in Pixar Pier, they can make critter country a neighborhood of New Orleans Square.

Even though it now has a walkway to the immersive Rise of the Resistance™, Critter Country still feels like a dead end. I mean, it is awkward in that Disneyland sort of way in that it feels slapped together over time and that's kinda charming about it.

I’ve always loved the area of Critter Country near the Splash exit and Pooh store. That Pooh store, I don’t know what it is about that place, but I LOVE it. We are usually soaked after just getting off of Splash, (the water seems to be magnetically attracted to my sneakers 😤) and we always go in and pick a treat and then sit and eat them on a nearby bench. I always take a pic of my kids exaggeratingly biting into their treat. I hope we don’t lose that stupid, little, wonderful Pooh store.

would it be possible to reconfigure splash so the entrance was in New Orleans square? Citter country could then stay as is or get reconfigured into a full hundred acre wood area

Even if it was possible they wouldn’t spend the money to do it. They don’t care this much.
