Is booking with Expedia a good idea?

Looking for some advice... Has anyone ever booked a Disney Resort (not a package) with Expedia? If so, how did it all end up? Was it worth the savings? If I book with Expedia I save about $50 bucks a night... Seems like a good deal, right?

Is it just me or did Expedia get rid of the "pay at hotel" option? I booked a hotel room near Univseral a few months ago for our upcoming trip and it let me just use a card to hold the ressie. Well, I had to add a night to it a few weeks ago and I had to pay a deposit(first nights price).
