Is anyone else waiting...

Is anyone else waiting for the AP room rates for the month of June/July/August...I called in today and asked and I was told they were going to be out in 2 weeks. Who else is waiting for the AP room rates?

I am also waiting and the wait is really driving me crazy. The discount pretty much decides where we stay. We need to know where we are staying so that we can plan ADR's and figure out our trip. I really hope they come out soon so that we can get excited about our trip.

YES! I feel like we have been waiting forever! I actually just checked before coming over here, and was once again disappointed. But this is good news, thanks PirateJessica20 for the good word. I am off to share it right now!

I know, but there seems to be a lot of different opinions by CM's as to when they will be released. I was told on Monday to call every other day as they will be out any MINUTE. Well nothing this week. The other rumors I have heard are Monday the 24th and May 1. Then I was told that it is all speculation anyway because CM's are not given any info as to when they will be released until they pop up on their computer. I wish I knew the truth to the whole thing. It would make the waiting a lot less stressful.

I know how you feel. I am waiting for AP resort discounts for October! I guess that I will have a longer wait than you. How far in advance do they give out the discounts? I am guessing a couple of months?

We are waiting for them as well.

As long as they are released before the last booking date for the free dining plan.

We need to see the rates to work out the best way of booking our Aug 31st - Sep 14th trip.

The AP rates are usually released 2 or 3 months before your planned arrival date...or the month in which you plan to visit WDW...I believe they only have AP Rates out for the month of May-June 6 or 7th. Keep in mind that AP rates are not not always released.

PLEASE note, we at the Disney Reservation Center are NEVER officially made aware of when ANY discount offer will be released. There are many rumors, speculations, and outright wild guesses that float around the call center, but NEVER official word until the date the offer is released to the public.

Please take any quote of a discount offer release date you hear from a Disney Reservation Agent as merely an educated guess at best, never fact. Disclosure of propriety information such as future discount offers this could be grounds for termination of the cast member.

I can state however the next Passholder Discount Offer is being released very soon ( please note disclaimer.)

Hope this helps! :sohappy:

I actually got tired of waiting around for the discounts and rented some DVC points from a DVC memeber. We're going to be staying at Saratoga in June, which came out to 115 a night for us.

You would think they would release them more often so they could get those loyal repeat AP holders coming back to the parks.

Wow...how did you get SSR for $115? I looked into it and it came to way more. Wait, I bet you are not staying Friday and Saturday night. The difference probably comes from the weekend stay.

I am still waiting for AP codes for July.:hammer:

Saratoga Spring in a Motorized Wheelchair

My significant other travels via a motorized wheelchair and I was wondering if you could give us some tips about Saratoga Springs' room location and whether the "walkways" to Downtown Disney would be navigable in his chair as well as the ability for him to use the water taxi (how is the boarding set up?).
We are staying in a one bedroom at Saratoga Springs Resort September 23-30, 2006 arranged by exchanging our Worldmark ownership points (Trendwest). I kept an eye on the Interval International Exchage site and when I saw Saratoga Springs pop up, I grabbed it. DVC participation in Interval International is one reason we chose this service over RCI. We pay $129 to exchange points (this is the Interval International fee) and another $95 Resort Fee to Disney in addition to our "points". Unlike DVC, whose points have a finite ownership more like a lease, our ownership points are good as long as we maintain our maintenance dues ($720 per year for the equivalent of a one bedroom unit for two weeks a year),

Usually, as soon as the next AP promotion or any reservation announcement is formally made, Pam or Marie from KingdomKonsultants will post it here. If you want personal treatment, get in touch with them and they can update you on the specifics of a vacation you might be planning.

I know the reservation system fairly well, but prefer to have them take care of it for me. They keep track of the best values and will always call back if something better comes up.

ITA! I booked one trip with KK, then I booked another one on my own... Never again! They know how to make a guest's requests properly so that your hotel room is not stuck out in Siberia (or at the end of the Kudu trail… :hammer: )

That being said, I am starting to get a bit neurotic waiting for AP rates. We can swing our trip without them, but it sure would be nice to get a discount!!! Crazy talk, I know!!
