Iron Chef Cat Cora at BW

I met Iron Chef Cat Cora in the lobby of The Boardwalk! She was filming a commercial for Disney Travel. I think she might have been staying there as well. Just thought id let ya'll know.

Didn't she do a book signing and a cooking demonstration during the Food & Wine Festival this year?

I really like her too and yes she was at the F&W festival, I would have loved to have see her there.
I like Alton too but Mario is the best besides Emeril... (why is he not an Iron Chef?) I am still bummed his show is ending!:fork:

Emeril Live is ending but his other show will be on the air. Too bad. The Ratatouille episode was great!Let me know when you run into the wonderful Chef Robert Irvine!

My Dad met Robert Irvine bout 2-3 weeks back when he was staying over at the Yacht, and my Dad actually told him how my Mom and I are fans of his show, and he actually gave my Dad a picture of him with his signature! My Dad said he was very, very nice, but the folks were climbing to get to him, haha.

I wish that I was too. Emeril Live tapes it's last episode December 11th. It will still air through 2009 I believe is what his site says. The Essence of Emeril will continue taping.
I liked Live better I really hate to see it go.

Yes Cat Cora was filming a new show for Disney Travel On Demand, i think it will air sometime late January on Cablevision and Time Warner Cable on the Disney Travel channel, keep an eye out. She is amazing! We were actually one of the families who got to film the show with her and she was not only kind, warm and personable but her food was outstanding. Was a great experience! the show will showcase a signature restaurant for each resort and one theme park with 4 different families on the new interactive channel, watch for it!! It was alot of fun!

Batali is good but is, at best, the 5th best Iron Chef (Michiba, Sakai, Kenichi, Morimoto, and then Batali if you assume he was better than Ishinabe). Emeril is not an Iron Chef because he is not good enough, his dishes lack subtlety, they are overflavored, and he would be foolish to stake his reputation on something like a competition. His empire is chugging right along with anything like that.
