Invited to test MYMAGIC+

Just got an Email inviting us to help test MYMAGIC. Looking at the post in this section I am unsure whether I should accept or not. If I decline what is the other option is it a card instead of the wristband and no fast pass? I like the bands but am concerned about some of the glitches that have appeared. What do others think.
Thanks

If you decline you will be able to use paper FP only, and not FP+. You will not get a MagicBand but will instead get a regular resort ID.

The other thing is a number of people talk about using their portable device to access the system while at WDW. Being from Canada we tend to keep our device use to wifi only due to roaming charges and the inflated prices we have to deal with(I won't go into the issues of Canadian cell phones). Is the ability to use a device while in the parks important? And if so what are the other options?

They have kiosks around the park to add or change your FP+. And they have wifi in the parks now.

Didn't get an email, but I did get a letter in the mail inviting me to be part of the MM+ test! Already have FP+ choices and MB customized, but it was nice of them to invite me anyway!:D

We are to the point that many of us were concerned about. You have little choice but to go with the rubber band. Depending on when you are going, if it is crowded the most coveted attractions run out of paper FPs quickly, a few weeks ago within 15 minutes. So we are where we are wearing MBs if you like it or not. My DS did it 2 weeks ago and aside from not being able to book FP+ for Toy they only had one mega glitch, his girlfriend never, ever was able to enter the park with her band. Every day and every hop she had to go to the iPad tablet CM to verify who she was, her resort and that she had passes. After the first few times they just accepted the group had to wait until she was admitted into the park.

Also, they did not link credit card to band, waiting for the glitches to be worked out before risking that.
