Internet Explorer Image Loading Problems

There is some sort of error on some versions of Internet Explorer that does not allow you to view all images. Unfortunately, on the computer i'm using at the moment, i have that exact problem. I can see all pictures on the forums and the galleries but not on the WDWmagic main pages, eg. E:E updates, Soarin' updates, so you can imagine how frustrating this is :fork: (However i can view gallery pictures that are displayed at the bottom of the main page!?Strange.

I was wondering if it would be at all possible to have a gallery section for Expedition Everest, Soarin' updates etc. so that people who have this problem can view the pictures !? Or if you know a solution to my problem that would be great! (I realise that if you used a gallery to do this you would have to restrict the size of the pictures as you do on the main site for members only).

Any help would be great!

If you mean that you can't click on the thumbnails to see a larger photo, then you have to be a paying member to do that.

If you can not see the smaller images it may be that you have a slow dial up connection as some pages have a lot of photos. If you can see where the photo should be, hit the stop button on your browser - probably a red cross. Now right click where the picture should be and choose "Show Picture". It will then show only that photo, rather than try to display all photos.

I had this same problem recently, an I just switched over to good ol' Mozilla.

But I recently had to format my computer (for an unrelated reason) and that solved the problem.

ok, i think the format thing is what i'll try. Its nothing to do with my connection and simply clicing 'show picture' doesn't work. Even the motor stunt show picture on th main page won't load up on my dads or brothers computer, but does on mine (not currently set up to the internet though :S) and the laptop, very strange. We've read about the problem now on the internet, apparently even microsoft haven't got a solution for it, from what we found anyway!

I am having the same problem of not being able to see certain thumbnail pictures. I am curious about formatting. Wouldn't that cause you to lose everything on your hard drive?

did you upgrade to Service Pack 2 on XP? Could be some of the settings changed, like how it copies the images to the harddrive, maby you need to clear it out, but first add more viewing space and see if that helps... (i dont remember how to, since i only use IE to fix windows...)

I had that problem, too. Simple answer: Mozilla Firefox. Muuuuuch more reliable than Internet Exploder, and waaaaaay less security flaws. :wave:

Yes, it does. I had to do it for a reason unrelated to the image problem. A nice side benefit was that it fixed this problem.

I was able to fix it!!! Thank you everyone. :sohappy: It was due to a setting in my Norton Internet Security. I can finally see the pics of all that is going on and also see a couple other websites that I had the same problem on.
