internet at all stars resorts

Can anyone tell me about the internet connection at the all star resorts? I was thinking- movie resort.. is it just dial up? I noticed the moderates have high speed. I am under the impression that it is dial up. If it is that is awful. let me lay out a theory for the disney employees that are paid to surf this sight and others of course: some guests don't spend alot alot of time(yes I ment to put that twice) at the hotel but want to stay on property. It's nice to bring your computer for minor work and email stuff before bed and in the a.m. sometimes.
But no one in the modern world should have to pay for dial up at a disney hotel- dial up? it would take you a half hour to send an email to a friend, without an attachment. While in Disney you are in the most magical place on earth, but you have to pay 100 or so more a night at a moderate for highspeed internet, so because I CAN'T or WON'T spend more on the room I have to suffer with dialup? I say no fair, raw deal, kind of class discriminatory in a way, people with less money don't need highspeed connections, they probably can't afford a laptop anyway....some people might choose to spen less on the room where they are in the parks 12 hrs. a day... sorry for the rant but after trying to decide where to book my room and doing the research this just didn't seem right.. if there is highspeed at the all stars...sorry for the hate-fest

SWEET!!!!!! becuase if you look on the disney web sight and planning guides as of today it specifically says "highspeed connection" at the moderates and deluxe but on the all star section it says "data port connection" and when I was the at the movie resort in april of 2007 it was dial up

Thanks for the info. it just didn't seem right...

we just got back from All Star Sports and the "hook up" was on the table between the beds next to the phone. I know that you have to have a credit card on file at the front desk before you can use it, so if you plan to use it, be sure to do so at check in.

maybe you could clarify once and for all for me because you just got back- dialup oe highspeed @ the allstars? not that I don't beleive others and I appreciate ALL of the good adive, but hey, you were JUST there.

Didn't want to sound nasty in the original thread, sorry guys and gals, (I cut myself a little slack on the attitude because I just quit smoking a week or so ago. I'll try to behave):hammer: It was misleading on the web sight though.
