What time does it open? Same time as the Epcot main gate?

i am pretty sure it opens when the park does but the world showcase doesnt open until 11.

but by all means, someone correct me if i am wrong

It opens with Future World at 9am. While you can enter the park from International Gateway and walk past the UK and Canada to get to FW, all World Showcase pavilions will be roped off and closed to guests until 11am.

Are you able to walk around the lake before opening or is the main walkway closed to? That has to be a nice time to walk around, expecially when its empty.

I'm 95% sure you can't walk around the lagoon, but its been a while and my memory is a bit foggy but I'm sure someone else can say definitively...

I've seen a variety of opening scenarios: opening the ticket readers (right at opening time); opening the ticket readers a little earlier and letting people bunch at a rope drop (at the top of the hill were you make the left to go to future world); and I've even seen opening the ticket readers (about five minutes early) and letting the International Gateway people get a head start to meet the main entrance people on a more even keel.

And no, you can't walk around the lake (roped off).

But you can enter early if you have a tour (and your name is on the list).
