International College Program -- Summer

Hey all,

I've noticed a lot of people chatting about Spring programs, but I'm wondering if anyone's done one in the summertime? Too warm? Has anyone worked as a lifeguard?

PS: When is the actual date that it starts.. it isn't listed ANYWHERE!

The start dates for the summer programs & fall advantage are usually the later part of may/ first week or two of june.

International college program dates usually differ from the US college program, as do the programs offered. If i remember rightly yummy jobs deal with Canadian recuitment for wdw. here are links to the websites you may find handy http://www.disneyinternationalprograms.com/, http://www.yummyjobs.com/ and http://www.wdwip.com/. They do offer a summer program that lasts 6-10 weeks, you will need to be quick tho as recruitment is happening now.

I've already applied and I'm currently waiting for the next step of the application process. I just find there's limited information so I figured I'd ask here.

Has anyone guarded? At the resorts or at Typhoon/Blizzard? What's expected of you?

I've been in the pool system since I was 15.. so it seems a no-brainer. Thoughts?

Just got an email from the YJ Canada rep.. they will be calling me sometime 'in the next week'.

After reading many threads about the CP, I know the general idea of the interview.. though most of the topics are for US residents. Any INTERNATIONAL suggestings?

I got a call from the YJ girl today, she said the dates were May 3rd - July 30th.
