Wait wasn't it obvious they were starting to move the attraction away from the movie?
I mean pirates league is going away.
And I thought I heard that they are planning on taking the references out of the ride altgoether.
Did I just make that up? Maybe lol.

Yeah. Not to mention the creepy mermaid scene that tied to the movie was removed, and the waterfall effect with Davy Jones and Blackbeard has been off for a while now. It's basically just the classic attraction with Jack Sparrow popping up every now and then.
