Id settle for a drunky town shuttle around WS. Like one of those little trains for kids you see in a shopping mall. That should be within TDOs budget. They can even put a wrap on it that clashes with any type of cohesive theme.
Theres a place for that...Its called Tokyo, or ShanghaiUnfortunately, in Orlando, they can't so I'd wish they would do a really good job (not rushing anything) and give guests a great experience that no other theme park has.

Shuttle? They couldn't even keep the old double decker buses running in WS.Id settle for a drunky town shuttle around WS. Like one of those little trains for kids you see in a shopping mall. Well you know, according to so many people, things fail in Epcot if they are not "kid friendly" enough.Shuttle? They couldn't even keep the old double decker buses running in WS.

Easier if the block system isn't thrown out of whack and potentially where a station is located. The monorail slides through mostly tight spaces in Disney's California Adventure that would have to be reworked.I would think it would be easier/cheaper to add a station entrance and ticket booth to an existing line then to build a whole new people mover system to connect DCA to TL.
I was kidding. Just making a Norway pavilion reference. But yes, they were fun, and it is faster to walk. I prefer @George 's idea anyway.According to whom? I always loved the busses as a "kid". But cars or busses without devoted tracks are somewhat a menace at Epcot. And to be honest, it is far faster to walk than it ever was to take the busses. (But they were fun!)
Rumor, idea, what's the different when discussing peoplemovers and the potential for monorail footers? This wasn't a rumor. it was someone's idea.

It's going to be a long drawn out celebration with major attractions being announced, so I think they mean "for" the celebration, not "by" the celebration. For the 60th? The celebration starts in May... I find it incredibly hard to believe that they would be able to build anything mentioned in this rumor in that amount of time.

You dont shoot yourself in the foot and announce things for the future. It wastes publicity and tells people to wait verse coming now
Disney needs to build people mover type transportation between all parks and all resorts. Of course I'm sure that'll happen after they build that 5th park
Good point!See...
You would basically undercut yourself. Better thing to do would be to wrap up the 60th and go 'wow, that was great, glad you all loved it, and now for our next carrot... unveil XYZ'
But as someone already linked.. this was a idea by Ride Warrior... and that says it all.
There's that word again... I hope they're the sole owner... And this would be quite a feat...Rumor, idea, what's the different when discussing peoplemovers and the potential for monorail footers?
Actually, it doesn't. It connects EC to the TTC and the TTC to the MK resorts and the MK.The monorail connects Epcot to MK

Yes, but not directly. You can't get to Epcot from MK by monorail only transportation?
